Dark Horse Comics Announces Hellboy Day

Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Mike Mignola’s Legendary Creation
on March 23, 2019

November 15, 2018) Next year, on Saturday March 23, 2019, Dark Horse Comics will celebrate the 25th anniversary of legendary comic book creator Mike Mignola’s most famous creation with Hellboy Day. In 1994, Dark Horse Comics published the debut issue of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction and introduced comic book readers to the Right Hand of Doom, the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, and one of the most iconic comic book characters—and universes—of all time. For 2019’s Hellboy Day celebration, Dark Horse will publish a 25th anniversary, promotional edition of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction issue 1, featuring a new cover by Mignola and colorist Dave Stewart, which will be given away at participating comic book shops; and select stores across the country will host Hellboy Day events.

“When I created Hellboy way back when I never imagined he would be around long enough to celebrate a 25th anniversary,” said Mike Mignola. “I’m grateful to the writers, artists, colorists and letterers who’ve joined me in telling Hellboy stories for all these years. And, of course, so grateful to the fans. This thing could not exist without their support and it’s a pleasure every time I get to go out to meet them.” Mike Mignola will appear at a Hellboy Day signing at Earth 2 Comics in Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles on March 23.

Dark Horse is inviting comic book retailers to celebrate this milestone anniversary for the world’s greatest paranormal investigator by holding store events and sales of Hellboy titles. In addition, Dark Horse will be creating a series of Hellboy Day promotional materials for retailers, including a Hellboy Tattoo Sheet, a Right Hand of Doom bookmark, a window cling, an open/close sign, and a new, folded version of the Hellboy double sided poster and Mignolaverse timeline that debuted at New York Comic Con. Retailers will have the chance to order promotional, giveaway materials and are invited to take advance of additional backlist sale pricing in order to hold celebrations at their stores. Qualifying retailers who take advantage of backlist sales promotion will be automatically entered to win special prizing packages from Dark Horse.

“Hellboy fans: please make sure to tell your retailer you want your local store to participate in this awesome celebration today,” said Matt Parkinson, Dark Horse Vice President of Marketing. “And retailers: look for the December Previews for February on Sale (Issue #363) for details on backlist sales and contest deals, as well as ordering information on the promotional material being created for the event.”

For nearly 25 years, Mignola and a host of celebrated writers and artists have chronicled the adventures of Hellboy facing his supposed destiny as Beast of the Apocalypse, and explored the mysterious backstories of B.P.R.D. agents including Professor Trevor Bruttenholm and Abe Sapien. Hellboy’s adventures have appeared in what are known as the Mignolaverse — the strange, shared universe of comic books and graphic novels, comprised of acclaimed titles including Hellboy & the B.P.R,D., Abe Sapien, B.P.R.D., Crimson Lotus, Frankenstein Underground, Lobster Johnson, The Visitor: How and Why He Stayed and Witchfinder. Hellboy has appeared in graphic novels and comic books, prose novels and short story collections, two animated features, two live action films, toy lines and all manner of merchandise. Neil Marshall’s forthcoming Hellboy film starring David Harbour, Sasha Lane, Ian McShane, Penelope Mitchell, and Milla Jovovich will be released by Lionsgate on April 12, 2019.

About Mike Mignola:

Mike Mignola’s fascination with ghosts and monsters began at an early age; reading Dracula at age twelve introduced him to Victorian literature and folklore, from which he has never recovered. Starting in 1982 as a bad inker for Marvel Comics, he evolved into a not-so-bad artist. By the late 1980s, he’d begun to develop his unique graphic style, with mainstream projects like Cosmic Odyssey and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. In 1994, he published the first of many Hellboy series through Dark Horse, leading to many spinoffs, prose books, animated films, and two live-action films. Along the way he worked on Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), and with director Guillermo del Toro on Blade II (2002), Hellboy (2004), and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). A new Hellboy film by Neil Marshall is currently in the works. Mike’s books have earned numerous awards and are published in a great many countries. He lives in Southern California with his wife, daughter, and cat.

Dark Horse: Get Ready To Devour Anthony Bourdain’s Final Graphic Novel

This October, Dark Horse Comics will publish the final graphic novel written by Anthony Bourdain before his untimely death in June, 2018.

ANTHONY BOURDAIN’S HUNGRY GHOSTS reunites the bestselling writer, chef, and award winning television host with accomplished co-writer Joel Rose, his friend and longtime collaborator, for a series of horror stories inspired by the popular Japanese Edo period parlour game of Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai. The graphic novel substitutes chefs in place of the traditional samurai, and transforms the classic stories of yokai, yorei, and obake by adding a common thread: food is central to each bone-chilling tale.  On a dark, eerie night a Russian oligarch dares a circle of international chefs to play the Samurai game of 100 Candles—where each storyteller blows out a candle after telling a terrifying tale of ghosts, demons and unspeakable beings, praying to survive the challenge.
The full color, hardcover book goes on sale in comic book shops and bookstores on October 2, 2018 and features:
·  5 all-new original recipes prepared by Bourdain;
·  An extended dedication and beautiful send off to Bourdain written by Rose;
·  Stories stunningly illustrated by artists Sebastian Cabrol, Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla, Irene Koh, Leonardo Manco, Alberto Ponticelli, Paul Pope, and Mateus Santolouco, with amazing color by Jose Villarrubia;
·  The Real Ghosts, a handy guide to the legendary spirits behind the terrifying tales, written by Rose, with illustrations by Leonardo Manco;
·  A reunion for Bourdain and Rose with legendary comic book editor Karen Berger — the editor of Dark Horse Comics’ imprint Berger Books and recent inductee into the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards Hall of Fame — who was the founding editor of Vertigo Comics, which published Bourdain and Rose’s graphic novel debut, the New York Times #1 bestseller, Get Jiro!
·  A jaw-dropping cover by bestselling comics artist Paul Pope.

ANTHONY BOURDAIN’S HUNGRY GHOSTS is a celebration of culinary creativity and the power of storytelling. Like Bourdain and his writing, the stories bring together different traditions to create something unexpected, bold, and occasionally shocking. Bourdain rejected the label of celebrity chef and the publication of this book is an opportunity to reflect not only on Bourdain’s impact on culture, but his literary legacy.
As Karen Rinaldi, Publisher of Harper Wave, Bourdain’s prose editor, publisher of Kitchen Confidential, and wife of Joel Rose explained, “First and foremost, Bourdain was a writer. Besides spending two decades writing and creating for television, Bourdain penned 14 books and had other works in progress when he died; he took storytelling seriously. Stories are how we connect and, in a world where real connection seems to be losing ground, Bourdain was there to help others claw their way back up. His gift was to connect cultures and people by finding what there was to honor, to share, and to be grateful for, even in the most tenuous of circumstances or in the least expected places.”
“It remains a great privilege to publish Anthony Bourdain,” said Karen Berger. “Tony grew up a huge fan of R Crumb and the horror stories of EC Comics and for a time, he wanted to be a comic book artist. But Tony loved co-writing comics with Joel and collaborating with the artists. It’s heartbreaking that we lost Tony, but I’ll always treasure my memories of his irreverent spirit, generosity, and his passion for comics and art.”
We hope you’ll celebrate Anthony Bourdain, and his love of story and food, by devouring this book.
(128 pages / color / on sale October 2, 2018 in comic shops and everywhere books are sold / $14.99 HC / ISBN 978-1506706696 / Berger Books, Dark Horse Comics, Inc.)
About the Writers:
Anthony Bourdain was a veteran chef and author of both non-fiction and fiction: the New York Times bestselling Kitchen Confidential and Medium RawA Cook’s Tour; the collection The Nasty Bits; the novels Bone in the Throat and Gone Bamboo; the biography Typhoid Mary: An Urban Historical; two graphic novels, Get Jiro! and Get Jiro!: Blood and Sushi and his latest New York Times bestselling cookbook Appetites. He has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Times of London, Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Vanity Fair, Lucky Peach and many other publications. In 2013, Bourdain launched his own publishing line with Ecco, Anthony Bourdain Books, an imprint of HarperCollins.  His first food and travel show was A Cook’s Tour on the Food Network, followed by No Reservations and The Layover on the Travel Channel. In 2013, he joined CNN as a producer, writer and host of the globe travelling show Parts Unknown which received the Peabody Award and Eleven Emmy Awards.  Bourdain received a posthumous Emmy Award for his non-fiction writing for Parts Unknown.
Somewhat notoriously, he established himself as a professional gadfly, bête noir, advocate, social critic, and pork enthusiast, recognized for his caustic sense of humor worldwide. He was as unsparing of those things he hated, as he was evangelical about his passions.
Joel Rose is the author of the novels Kill the PoorKill Kill Faster Faster, and The Blackest Bird. Kill Kill Faster Faster and Kill the Poor were both made into feature films. Other writing includes: New York Sawed in Half and the bestselling graphic novel Get Jiro!, co-written with Anthony Bourdain. Dark Horse Comics Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Hellboy’s First Appearance at San Diego Comic-Con With New Announcements

For Immediate Release: Dark Horse Celebrates the 25th Anniversary
of Hellboy’s First Appearance at San Diego Comic-Con
With New Mignolaverse Announcements

July 16, 2018): In 1993, legendary comic book creator Mike Mignola’s most famous creation, Hellboy, first appeared in a four page, black and white story in San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2, months ahead of his full issue comic book debut in Hellboy: Seed of Destruction. Co-published by Dark Horse Comics, this story introduced one of the most beloved comic book characters in history and launched what would become known as the Mignolaverse — the strange, shared universe of comic books and graphic novels, comprised of acclaimed titles including Hellboy and the B.P.R.D., Abe Sapien, B.P.R.D., Frankenstein Underground, Lobster Johnson, The Visitor: How and Why He Stayed and Witchfinder. 25 years later, Mignola is once again returning as a Special Guest to San Diego Comic-Con International, where the convention will celebrate the 25th anniversary of that first 4-page story by including the historic story in their 2018 Souvenir Book. The story, which previously had been published with colors by acclaimed colorist Matt Hollingsworth, will now be colored by Eisner Award-winning colorist and longtime Mignola collaborator Dave Stewart and will appear alongside an all new interview with Mignola and Jed W. Keith. In addition, Mignola and Stewart have created an all new cover for the San Diego Comic-Con International Events Guide. And today, ahead of the convention and the planned celebration of Mignola and his creation, Dark Horse Comics is announcing three new Mignolaverse comic books, which further expand and enrich the epic story that has been entertaining fans around the world for two and a half decades.

“From the beginning I knew Hellboy was going to be a book about monsters fighting monsters,” said Mignola. “I started off with a 4-page teaser about a shabby dog at a gas station turning into the Egypian god Anubis, and since I got away with that I just kept going—the Baba Yaga, the Penanggalan, demonic Mexican wrestlers, Irish goblins, flying Japanese heads—there’s a whole world of monsters out there, so still plenty of work for Hellboy to do.”

The three new titles, which Dark Horse Comics will publish in 2018, span the globe and showcase very different corners of the Mignolaverse — the occult cold war escalates in Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1956; Lobster Johnson’s biggest foe, the Crimson Lotus, is featured in her first ever, eponymous mini-series; and the annual Hellboy Winter Special features festive and supernatural stories from Mike Mignola and Ben Stenbeck, Tonci Zonjic, Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá.

The three new titles are:

Crimson Lotus five issue mini series
Mike Mignola (W), John Arcudi (W), Mindy Lee (A), Michelle Madsen (C), Tonci Zonjic (Cover)
Issue 1 on sale date: 11/21/2018
Before she became Lobster Johnson’s biggest foe, the Crimson Lotus was a young girl whose family was caught up in the Russo-Japanese war. Thirty years later, the Lotus exacts her revenge with terrifying international ramifications, and two spies must try to chase her through China before they become flies in her web.

Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1956 five issue mini series
Mike Mignola (W), Chris Roberson (W), Yishan Li (A), Mike Norton (A), Michael Avon Oeming (A), Dave Stewart (C), Dave Johnson (Cover)
Issue 1 on sale date: 11/28/2018
Pressure is mounting within the bureau to uncover the Soviets’ secret plans, but a suspicious cover-up leads one agent off the radar in search of answers. Meanwhile, demonic Soviet occult leader Varvara pushes her team to follow her own whims, and Hellboy is sent on the mission that would lead to his infamous misadventures in Mexico. But even more clandestine plots are at work—both inside the B.P.R.D. and out. Three different storylines are interwoven in this espionage saga.

Hellboy Winter Special 2018
Mike Mignola (W/Cover), Fábio Moon (W/A/variant cover), Gabriel Bá (W/A/Variant cover), Tonci Zonjic (W/A/C), Ben Stenbeck (A), Dave Stewart (C)
On sale date: 12/12/2018
Three wintery tales featuring a Mike Mignola and Ben Stenbeck team-up about a New Year’s Eve séance gone wrong when Hellboy visits a family’s English home, Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá revisit B.P.R.D.: Vampire with a new tie-in story, and Tonci Zonjic returns to write and draw Lobster Johnson.

Fans will be able to ask Mignola about the new titles —and anything else the audience wants to talk about regarding his career —  at the San Diego Comic-Con international Spotlight panel on Mike Mignola on Friday, July 20th at 2:30 PM PT in Room: 24ABC. Mignola will also be signing at the Dark Horse Comics booth (#2615) on Friday July 20th at 4:30 PM and exhibiting at Booth #4901, alongside artists Geof Darrow, Frank Cho and Steve Purcell from Wednesday through Saturday.

The new titles join an exciting Mignolaverse publishing lineup for the year, including the HELLBOY OMNIBUS COLLECTION which creates the definitive reading experience for Hellboy fans and an ideal entry point for new readers by publishing Mignola’s award-winning Hellboy stories in chronological order for the first time ever.

Since introducing Hellboy in March of 1994, Mike Mignola has built a huge comic-book universe around the character on par with what Stan Lee and Jack Kirby accomplished in the Silver Age of Marvel Comics.. . .  Each new visual is like a master class in establishing mood, and Mignola’s skill increases as he refines his line, proving that less is more when it comes to his pulp-inspired fantasy horror universe.THE AV CLUB

Eisner-award Winning Creator Mark Buckingham Adapts New York Times Best-selling Author Neil Gaiman’s LIKELY STORIES for Dark Horse Books

Eisner-award Winning Creator Mark Buckingham
Adapts New York Times Best-selling Author Neil Gaiman’s
LIKELY STORIES for Dark Horse Books

March 5, 2018) Eisner-award winning creator Mark Buckingham is adapting four of New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman’s prose short stories for the upcoming graphic novel anthology LIKELY STORIES, to be published as a hardcover original graphic novel by Dark Horse Book later this year. Buckingham (Fables), will adapt and illustrate the stories “Looking for the Girl”, “Foreign Parts”, “Closing Time”, and “Feeders and Eaters.” These dark and imaginative tales feature an odd and subtly linked world of bizarre venereal diseases, a creepy old woman who feasts on raw meat, a man obsessed with a skin model from a magazine, and a story within a story about ghosts. LIKELY STORIES will retail for $17.99 when it goes on sale in comic shops on August 29 and in bookstores on September 11, 2018.
“Having been friends and collaborators for over thirty years, Neil Gaiman and I have worked together in a variety of different ways, from illustrating his full scripts, to our current cowriting of new Miracleman stories. However, I had never adapted any of Neil’s prose stories before, so this was an irresistible challenge,” said Buckingham. “Not all of these stories were new to me. Feeders and Eaters started life as a comic strip Neil and I created for a UK publisher way back in 1990. When Neil revisited it as a prose story a few years later he added a lot of depth and richness, which opened up new narrative possibilities. Ever since then I have been eager to take another shot at it myself. So imagine my delight when Dark Horse approached me to do just that as part of the Likely Stories collection!”
LIKELY STORIES was previously adapted for television, originally airing on Sky TV before airing on Shudder in 2016. For the graphic novel adaptation, Buckingham will be working from the source materialthe original prose stories.
“This will be quite a different experience to people’s previous encounters with these tales,” said Buckingham. “I knew I wanted this to read as a cohesive whole, rather than a set of short stories, so I have woven them together, Into a single narrative, linking them all to the Diogenes late night drinking club that plays such an important role in the Closing Time story.”
LIKELY STORIES is the latest adaptation to join Dark Horse Books’ prestigious Neil Gaiman Library, joining AMERICAN GODS: SHADOWS featuring script and layouts from P. Craig Russell and art by Scott Hampton; FORBIDDEN BRIDES OF THE FACELESS SLAVES IN THE SECRET HOUSE OF THE NIGHT OF DREAD DESIRE adapted by Shane Oakley; HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES adapted by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá; ONLY THE END OF THE WORLD AGAIN featuring script and layouts from P. Craig Russell, art by Troy Nixey and colors by Matt Hollinsworth; and TROLL BRIDGE adapted by Colleen Doran.  Rights were acquired from Gaiman’s literary agent, Merrilee Heifetz at Writers House.

Before that, he’d spent fifty years fighting monsters as a somewhat carefree member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. The Complete Short Stories Volumes 1 & 2 present those early adventures. “The Crooked Man” and “Double Feature of Evil,” both of which earned Mignola and his legendary collaborator Richard Corben Eisner Awards, are collected with the complete “Hellboy in Mexico” saga, featuring collaborations with Corben, Mick McMahon, Gabriel Ba, and Fabio Moon, as well as one of Mignola’s early masterpiece, “The Corpse.” This 368-page volume covers Hellboy’s adventures from 1947 to 1961, reprinting stories from The Chained Coffin, The Right Hand of Doom, The Bride of Hell, The Crooked Man, The Troll Witch, and Hellboy’s childhood adventure, The Midnight Circus, drawn by Duncan Fegredo.

He gets answers about his destiny, like it or not, in over 300 pages of comics mostly drawn by Mignola, featuring award-winning guests Gary Gianni and Richard Corben. This 416-page volume covers Hellboy’s adventures from 1998 to 2005, reprinting Conqueror Worm, Strange Places, Into the Silent Sea, and “The Right Hand of Doom, “Box Full of Evil,” and “Being Human” from The Right Hand of Doom and B.P.R.D. The human race hangs in the balance, as well as King Arthur’s sword Excalibur, in a story that wipes England off the map and sets in motion the end of the world … Mike Mignola and Duncan Fegredo’s complete trilogy is collected for the first time in this 512-page volume, reprinting Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt, and The Storm and the Fury, and the short story “The Mole.”

About Dave Stewart:

Dave Stewart was born on the high desert, while his mother danced to the chatter of a rattlesnakes tail. Despite a rare case of Sasquatch leg and the desire to run with any north bound moose migration, he found the coloring arts were a suitable profession to fuel the resources needed to build a moonshine still in the backwoods hills of Southwest Portland. Much to his surprise he found that his coloring garnered him industry awards, unlike his feverish gathering of dry leaves for winter bedding. And he colors on.

The BLACK HAMMER Universe Expands This Fall from Dark Horse Comics

Dark Horse Comics Announces Spinoffs from the Acclaimed, Creator Owned Series
by Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston,
Beginning with SHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL
by Jeff Lemire and David Rubín

July 10, 2017) Writer Jeff Lemire and artist Dean Ormston have captivated readers and critics alike with their sad, dark, and brilliant”* creator owned superhero saga BLACK HAMMER, which follows the forgotten champions of Spiral City long after the age of heroes has passed. This fall, Dark Horse Comics will expand the universe of the BLACK HAMMER with SHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL, written by Lemire and illustrated by artist David Rubín, for the first of several high profile mini-series featuring different artists. While the main, Eisner-nominated BLACK HAMMER series focuses on the heroes of Spiral CityAbraham Slam, Golden Gail, Colonel Weird, Madame Dragonfly, and BarbalienSHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL reveals the secret origins of the Black Hammer’s greatest villains.

“While working on BLACK HAMMER I found myself having more and more ideas for other types of superhero stories,” said Lemire. “The main BLACK HAMMER story continues to be the spine of these ideas, but I found them branching off into new directions and new characters as well. It occurred to me that there was a whole history here, a whole superhero universe all of our own, that I could explore and create within. So, Dean Ormston and I have decided to expand the world of BLACK HAMMER and create an avenue to tell these other stories. The first mini-series will be SHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL, which will be illustrated by the incomparable David Rubín.”

“Lemire and Ormston have created a distinctive look and feel for BLACK HAMMER,” said David Rubín. “When designing characters like The Horseless Rider, Doctor Star, Wingman and Black Stallion, I wanted to match the wonderful weirdness of the Black Hammer’s rogue gallery featured in SHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL.”

Lucy Weber, the daughter of the Black Hammer, is an investigative newspaper reporter, and her search for the truth about her father leads her to some very dark places,” said Dean Ormston. “In SHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL, Lucy heads to Spiral City’s infamous asylum to confront the world’s greatest super villains and the secrets they have locked away.”

“BLACK HAMMER follows in the proud tradition of creator owned comics published by Dark Horse,” said Dark Horse Comics President and Publisher Mike Richardson. “Like its many fans, I can’t wait to see what Jeff, Dean and the all star artists have in store for us as the expanded BLACK HAMMER universe unfolds.”

“The World of BLACK HAMMER has become my favorite place to be,” said Lemire. “The last thing I want to do is exploit the fans of BLACK HAMMER with needless spin offs or tie-ins that they have to read to get the whole story. So, these new mini-series, like the regular ongoing BLACK HAMMER  series, will stand alone and tell complete, self-contained stories.”

Dark Horse Comics will publish the debut issue of the four issue SHERLOCK FRANKENSTEIN & THE LEGION OF EVIL mini-series on October 18, featuring a main cover by Rubín and a variant cover by legendary HELLBOY creator Mike Mignola.

Dark Horse Books to Publish Bestselling Author Chuck Palahniuk’s First Coloring Book Novella

Announcing LEGACY: AN OFF-COLOR NOVELLA FOR YOU TO COLOR,
Illustrated by Mike Norton and Steve Morris
June 19, 2017) This fall Dark Horse Books is publishing bestselling author Chuck Palahniuk’s novella, Legacy: An Off-Color Novella for You to Color, which features colorable illustrations by Steve Morris and Mike Norton. The novella is a dark but colorful fable with aspiring immortals, an amoral banker and his despicable family, a stalker and the kind of extreme storytelling and biting social satire that the readers of Fight Club, Choke and Survivor have come to expect. The new book follows Dark Horse’s release of Palahniuk’s first ever coloring book for adults and most recent short story collection, Bait: Off-Color Stories for You to Color, and the hardcover release of the #1 New York Times bestselling graphic novel Fight Club 2 graphic novel last year. Legacy is Palahniuk’s first long form prose publication since the release of his novel Beautiful You in 2014.
“Imagine if Joseph Campbell produced a coloring book,” said Palahniuk. “Legacy will be one part Art Bell, one part Carl Jung, part George Noory, and right brain from cover to cover.  All cultures have their myths about attaining immortality, but Dark Horse, Mike, Steve and I are the first to slap such high culture anthropology into the low culture world of coloring.”
Legacy: An Off-Color Novella for You to Color is a 8.5 x 11 inch hardcover album, with uncoated and white interior paper stock, accompanied by a cover illustrated and colored by Duncan Fegredo and designed by Nate Piekos. Fegredo is arguably best known for his art on several acclaimed Hellboy graphic novels, including Hellboy: Darkness Calls (the first storyline to not feature art by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola) and Hellboy: The Wild Hunt, featuring the fan favorite Blood Queen storyline.
Two acclaimed artists provides colorable illustrations throughout the book: Mike Norton, the creator of the Eisner and Harvey Award-winning webcomic Battlepug, and Steve Morris, who’s best known for his art for Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic books. Legacy: An Off-Color Novella for You to Color goes on sale from Dark Horse Books in both comic book stores and bookstores on November 7, 2017.
“Each reader will bring his or her final details to the story,” said Palahniuk. “When colored, each book will be a one-of piece of collaborative art worth keeping for the ages!”
