IMPORTANT POLICY UPDATES
 Weapons Policy Update
In response to the growing concerns of attendees, guests, and exhibitors of Long Beach Comic Con, we have re-visited our prop weapons guidelines and will be instituting new rules to better ensure the safety and peace of mind of all who attend.

Our primary policy change will be prohibiting the use of any prop with the appearance of a gun.

You’ll find the rest of our guidelines are much as they were before with metal-bladed weapons, blunt weapons, hard prop replica weapons made of metal, wood, fiberglass, and glass not allowed on the premises.

Personal defense items like pepper spray are also forbidden. We urge cosplayers and fans to read over our guidelines carefully and completely before coming to Long Beach Comic Con to avoid having to return items to your vehicle.

Please expect to have all approved prop weapons checked upon entry. Once approved, they must remain visibly tagged for the duration of your visit at the convention center.

Bag Check
In an effort to improve safety at Long Beach Comic Con, we will be implementing a bag policy for all attendees, guests, and exhibitors. Although there is no restriction the size or type of bag you may bring to the con, every bag must be thoroughly checked by security prior to entering the convention center.
With your assistance and cooperation, we will continue to keep all MAD Event Management conventions fun and safe for everyone.

Enjoy the show!
